William A. Shea, of Fairmount, Philadelphia, passed away on August 27, 2013. He was 87 years old. Beloved husband of the late Loretta Shea (nee White); father of Deborah Gogol (Dan), and Mark Shea. Grandfather of John Shea (Chris), Damian Gogol (Danielle), and Danielle Elliott (Jim). Great-grandfather of James and Daniel Elliott. Brother of Helen Haddigan. A WWII USMC veteran, he served honorably with the Third Marine Division in the Pacific. Former employee of the Philadelphia School District and the PA Dept. of Transportation.
