Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Ash was the son of the late William E. and Lillian (Eriksen) Ash. He was also the owner of a men's clothing store in New York for many years. Mr. Ash is survived by his loving sister Janet Ash of Philadelphia.

A memorial service celebrating Mr. Ash's life will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:30AM at Arch Street United Methodist Church, 55 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. A visitation with the family will be held at the church at 9:30AM.
