Werner Eisenmann, of Pennsburg, passed away at St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem on Saturday, September 2, 2017. He was 85 years old. Born on March 4, 1932 in Göppingen, Germany, he was the son of the late Hermann and Frida Dorothea (Kuhn) Eisenmann. He was also the beloved husband of Zenta (Steiner) Eisenmann. The couple celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on April 24, 2017.
Werner proudly served in the United States Army 11th Airborne Division. He also worked for many years as a computer analyst. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two sons, John Eisenmann, of Villas, NJ, and Stephen Eisenmann, of Vero Beach, FL; two daughters, Petra Mussel, of Morrison, CO, and Christine Eisenmann, of Newtown, PA; eleven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his two brothers and one sister.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 12:30 PM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076. A visitation will precede the service from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Funeral Home. Interment and military service will follow in Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Werner's name are requested to 82nd Airborne Division Association, Inc., PO BOX 87482, Fayetteville, NC 28304-7482.
