Victor Valentine, of Philadelphia, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013 at Chapel Manor Nursing Home. He was 85 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John Armand and Anna (nee Buxbaum) Valentine. Victor served in the United States Navy and worked in the insurance industry as an underwriter. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Helen Valentine and his beloved dog Alex. He is survived by his friend Adrienne Boyer, of Philadelphia. A committal service with military honors will be held at 9AM on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Washington's Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown, PA. Arrangements by The Oliver H. Bair Funeral Home.
