Sterling Clair Lathen, II, of Philadelphia, passed away on July 13, 2015 at York Road Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was 64 years old. Clair was born November 4, 1950 in Fairbury, Nebraska to Thomas Barrow and Florene Arlene (Becker) Lathen. He graduated from Grand Island High School in 1969 and attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He married Susan Mary Huff on July 9, 1974 in Lincoln, Nebraska and worked as a computer programmer. Clair was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters Elizabeth Anne and Michelle Anne. Survivors in addition to his wife, Susan, of 41 years, Utica, Ne are two daughters, Jennifer (Patrick) Falk, Atchison, Ks and Kathryn Lathen, Seward, Ne; a son, Christopher (Tawnya) Lathen, Seward, Ne; five grandchildren; Elizabeth, Morgan and Sterling Falk, Atchison, Ks and Hannah Muckey and Emma Lathen, Seward, Ne; two brothers, Robert (Roxie) Lathen, Grand Island, Ne and Thomas (Donna) Lathen, Roland, Ia; one sister, Virginia (Robert) Fahnestock, Grand Island, Ne; three nieces, a nephew, a great-granddaughter and a great-nephew.
