Shirley A. (Rostmeyer) Hurtt, of Stuart, FL, and formerly of Newtown Square, PA, died at her daughter's home in Blue Bell, PA on Monday, June 20, 2016. She was 89 years old. Born in Baltimore, MD, she was the beloved wife of the late James H. Hurtt, IV for 60 years.

Mrs. Hurtt was an avid golfer and worked as an office manager at Mynol, Inc. located in Broomall, PA for 15 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry Ann Hurtt Dalsey, DMD (William Colwell Dalsey, MD, MBA, FACEP), of Blue Bell, PA; son, James Henry Hurtt, V (Melissa Hurtt), of Lothian , MD, son, Craig Austin Hurtt, DMD (Anne Hurtt) of Chester Springs, PA; and six grandchildren: Kaitlyn Dalsey, MBA (Deniz Ilhan), Jennifer Dalsey (Quinn Grimes, MD), Kristina Dalsey, Madeline Hurtt, James Henry Hurtt, VI and Christopher Hurtt.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 3625 Chapel Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, see address above.
