Ms. Sakisha Allen, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 29, 2014. She was born to the late Ozell Allen III and Denise Stallings-Evans. Kisha (as she is lovely called) was a very precious child that always had a great sense of self and loved pleasing others. Kisha also brought joy to those around her with her witty and loving ways. She was formally educated through the Philadelphia Public Schools and graduated from Overbrook High School in 1996. She attended Pennsylvania State University where she obtained her Associate Degree in Psychology in 1998. Kisha had a love for education and Public and Behavioral Health so she furthered her education at Strayer University and obtained a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration in 2007 and a Masters of Business Administration. She was currently in school pursing a Masters of Health Services and was actively applying to West Chester University to obtain her PhD in Social Work before she became our Angel. Kisha's career in public health and counseling spanned over the last 18 years. She was currently a Case Worker for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania at the West District here in Philadelphia, PA. She immensely enjoyed her career and the mantra that she lived by showed through her amazing work. Kisha was a great friend to many. Some of her friendships are over 30 years old. To know Kisha, was to honestly love her. She gave so much love and the love abundantly reciprocated. That love, encompassed her during her most difficult times and through her final days. Sakisha Denise Allen transitioned to her next life on December 29, 2014 in her sleep. She leaves to cherish her loving memories: a devoted and loving grandmother, Evang. Rosezella B. Stalings, a dedicated and caring brother, Ozell Allen IV; step-sister, Shareese Rivers; four aunts, Mrs. Doretha Wooten, Mrs. Loretta, Evang. Anise Wynfield and Evang. Susan B. Davis; five uncles, Ellis Gibbs, Alvin Stallings, Harold Wooten, Zaid Musawwir, Kevin Lumpkin; three adorning nieces, Shye-Anne Conrad, Halia Allen, Maykayla Allen; one nephew, Josiah Allen; three cousins, Mona Wooten, Josephine Wooten, Shante Lumpkin (more like a sister); a god-father, Rev Douglas Carpenter; a god-son, Devonne Starks; three close friends, Don Mcray, Monica James, and Faith Ellis; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends she loved as family. Kisha was preceded in death by: her mother: Denise Stallings-Evans and her father: Ozell Allen III. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Presbyterian Church of Llanerch, 211 Lansdowne Road, Havertown, PA 19083. A visitation with the family will precede the service from 10:00AM to 10:45AM. Interment will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Sharon Hill.
