Ruth P. Aliberti, of Media, passed away at Taylor Hospital on May 14, 2020.  She was 80 years old.  Born in Philadelphia to the late Anthony Coan and Adele (Kalvaitis) Jerla, she was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Aliberti.

Ruth enjoyed cooking and walking in the rain.  She especially loved being a grandmother and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be dearly missed by her three children, Marcella Campi (John), of Media, Marlene Chavanne (William), of Cape May, and Lawrence Aliberti (Rose), of South Philadelphia; seven grandchildren, Richard (Emily), Matthew (Rebecca), Valentina, Melissa, Billy, Shaina, and Tyler; five great grandchildren, Santino, Noel, Maximus, Ryann, and Andrew; sister, Jacqueline Eells; and brother, James Jerla.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by four siblings.
