Well it's not too far to Paradise, at least it's not for them. The wind is right, and Ron and Eileen have sailed away to find tranquility-- or at least to a fabulous Casino down the shore where they can enjoy some watermelon shooters and play the slots with friends and family who have gone before them. Together in life for 37 years, Ron and Eileen Paden have a dream and the wind to carry them, they are free, sailing away to where they've always wanted to be. Dancing just as they did on their wedding day, listening to the Christopher Cross song that reminds all of us of the joy and love they shared over the years.
Eileen Patricia Maureen (Barnard) Paden, of Woodlyn, passed away peacefully, after a month long struggle to overcome many health complications, at Crozer-Keystone Hospice in Ridley Park on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald "Ron" J. Paden, who passed away on February 10th.
Eileen was the Chief Deputy Court Administrator at the Delaware County Courthouse and worked there 38 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Patrice Paden Martin (Scott), of Prosper, TX, and Michelle Lynn Paden, of Woodlyn; and two brothers, David Barnard (MaryAnn) and Paul Barnard (Joanne) and one grandson, Nicholas Gabriel Paden, of Prosper, TX.
Ron served in the Navy after high school, then worked in various positions at SEPTA for over 40 years, from Bus Driver to Towerman, he always loved playing with trains!
A Memorial Service will be held for both Eileen and Ron on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 2:30 PM in The Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family prior to the service from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM in the Chapel.
