Robert Russell Wright, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022.  He was 91 years old.  Born in Trenton, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert Russell and Helen Louise Babette (Mack) Wright.  He was also the beloved husband of Leroy E. Bernat.

After serving in the Korean War, Bob attended Trenton Junior College and later achieved his bachelor's degree from the Philadelphia College of Art.  He was a successful interior designer until his retirement.

Bob loved the arts, architecture, and classical music.  He would often be found sketching and creating birthday cards.  He also enjoyed traveling and attending the opera.

In addition to his husband, he is survived by his four nieces, Lisa Robillard (Jesus de la Torre) of Trenton, NJ, Lynn Rochard, of Whitefish, MT, Barbette Robillard (Robert Potterfield) of Point Pleasant, PA, and Suzanne Robillard of Hamilton, NJ; six grand nieces and nephews, Russell de la Torre (Lisa Mate), Sabrina de la Torre, Blaise Bellows, Laine Vaught (Gus Swanson), Zachary Potterfield (Charissa Turner), and Jacob Potterfield (Jessica Lulo); one great grand nephew (Benjamin de la Torre) and one great grand niece (Sarah de la Torre). Robert was predeceased by his sisters Eleanor Wright and Janet (Wright) Robillard.

Funeral services will be held at St. Peter's Church, 313 Pine Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106 on May 7, 2022 at 12:00 Noon.  Parking is permitted in the church lot designated for parking.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's name are requested to Episcopal Community Services, 225 S. 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106; or Trenton Meeting of Friends, 142 E. Hanover Street, Trenton, NJ 08608.
