Richard Henry Topor's Obituary
Richard Henry Topor, 67, of North Wales, passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Beth Topor, to whom he was married for nearly 38 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son David Topor; two daughters, Jennifer Topor and Michele (Topor) Finney; son-in-law Chad Finney; and one grandson Connor Finney.
During his life, Richard had a passion for health, fitness and running. He was a long time participant of the Philadelphia Distance Run, as well as other races across the Northeast. He also had a love for his dogs, cars and car collecting. He was involved in his family owned clothing manufacturing business for many years and was also engaged in many entrepreneurial ventures, including owning one of the first health food stores in the Philadelphia area, as well as several real estate ventures. He was also passionate about spending many years as a stay-at-home dad to his three children.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service o n Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11:30 AM at Carmel Cemetery, 360-380 Morias Ave., Millville, NJ 08332. Shiva will be observe d on Tuesd ay an d Wednesd ay a t 7:00 pm at the residence of Michele and Chad Finney: 3021 Runneymede Dr., Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
In lieu of flowers, family and friends may make donations in Richard's honor to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 100 N. 20th St., Suite 405, Philadelphia, PA 19103.
