Richard Cinquina, of Merion Station, PA, passed away at Jefferson Einstein Montgomery Hospital on May 24, 2024.  He was 76 years old.

Born in the bustling city of Allentown, PA, Richard later moved to the city of Merion Station (Lower Merion Township), PA, where he made his home. He was a faithful participant of Horizon House for many years where he was known for his love of music and witty sense of humor. He was always ready to tell you a story on what singers sang, when they were born, and when they passed away.  He lived a life of simplicity, finding joy in the little things and cherishing moments spent with staff.  He enjoyed his outings to the Dollar Store purchasing all kinds of gadgets like ink, pens, and batteries.  Whether he was telling captivating stories of the singers he loved, like Elvis Presley, watching the Three Stooges, or blasting his radio, he always had a way of making everyone feel valued and heard.

Richard also held various custodial positions until his time of retirement.  His personality brought warmth and joy to everyone.  He will be missed by his peers, staff, and special friends.

Richard leaves behind to cherish all his great memories his Horizon House family, and his special friend and roommate, NM.

A viewing will be held on Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Oliver H. Bair Funeral Home, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.  A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will immediately follow in the adjoining Montrose Cemetery.
