Otis L. Boyd's Obituary
Otis L. Boyd of Philadelphia passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 8, 2023. He was 73 years old. Born in Atlanta, GA. He was the son of the late Alice Wright and Leo Brown.
Otis proudly served in the United States Army and worked as a pipe fitter for Amtrak until his retirement. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, working with his hands, crossword puzzles, and people watching with his beloved cat, Miss Scarlett.
He is survived by his son, Jermaine Smith, step children Regina Smith and Timothy Smith, niece Marilyn Wright, and great nephew Khyon Wright.
Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service with military honors on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11am at Oliver Bair Funeral Home, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
The Repast/Celebration of Life will take place immediately after the service at 1902 W. Wilt Street, Philadelphia, PA 19121.
