Norma Atkinson, 73, died at the Little Flower Manor in Darby on September 18, 2008. She was a long time resident of East Lansdowne. Born in Ireland on September 23, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Louise Taggart. For many years, Mrs. Atkinson was employed as a waitress at the Horn & Hardart Restaurant Co.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie LaNette of Drexel Hill, five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Albert Taggart, of County Derry, Ireland.

A viewing was held on Monday September 22, 2008 at the Oliver Bair Funeral Home in Upper Darby on September 22, 2008 . Interment was private.
