Myrlyn (Moyer) Ferketich, 92, of Green Lane, entered into eternal peace on Sunday, March 1, 2015. Myrlyn was born on August 12, 1922 to the late Wilson M. and Stella B. Moyer of Green Lane. She attended the Sumneytown School House and later worked in the Sumneytown Pants Factory. After raising five children, she worked as an aide at the Green Lane School office. Myrlyn was a kind and gentle soul with her loving smile and generous heart. She would be seen walking everywhere enjoying the area. She was also a life-long member of Frieden's U.C.C. in Sumneytown. She was predeceased by her two sons Barry Alan and John Craig Ferketich; and siblings Arthur, Glenna, and Warren Moyer. She leaves her loving memories to her children: Vicki and husband Donald Hess; Richard Bruce and wife Dawn Ferketich; and Judy Ferketich; grandchildren: Collin Ferketich-Rupert; Evan and his wife Melissa Hess; Christine and husband Philip McMahon; and Elaine Buck; great grandchildren: Joel, Frankie, Brendon, Kylene, Kourtne, Spencer, and Gavin; and siblings: Cleta Sadorf and Harold Moyer.
