Miriam Maraderosian, 88, of Upper Darby Twp., Pennsylvania, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly with her sister Susan beside her on June 13, 2026. Daughter of the late Moushegh and Arnoosh (neé Eramian) Marderosian.

Miriam was a devoted nurse and compassionate caregiver. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from The Mack School of Nursing in 1960. In 1961, her career brought her to Philadelphia, where she dedicated many years of service at Jefferson Medical Center and also worked in Private Duty Nursing.

Never one to keep her hands idle, Miriam found great joy in crocheting. She created more than a thousand hats, along with baby blankets and scarves, which were sent to Armenia to provide comfort and assistance to those in need.

Miriam is survived by her sisters, Susan and Sylvia Matthews. She was predeceased by her mother, brother, nephew, and brother-in-law.
