Melville C. Mckenney's Obituary

Melville C. McKenney, of Perkiomenville, formerly of North Wales, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018.  He was 100 years old.  Born in Sebasco, Maine, he was the beloved husband of the late Mary Elizabeth (Travis) McKenney.

Mr. McKenney was a Pearl Harbor survivor and served as a Private First Class in the US Army during World War II.  He also owned a janitorial services business and retired in 1983.

He is survived by his three daughters, Teresa Ziegler (John), of North Wales, Donna Locurto (Jay), of Quakertown, and Margie Colón (Rafael), of Perkiomenville; seven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076.  A funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn.
