Maxine (Miller) Brown passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2022 at Lankenau Medical Center.  She was 80 years old.  Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Nancy Verlin Miller and beloved wife of the late Harry S. Brown for 53 years.

Maxine loved the Lord and attending church.  She enjoyed working in the yard, tending to her plants, and simply helping others.

She is survived by her two sons, Hal Brown of Yeadon and Timothy Brown and his wife, Sami, of Holly Springs, NC; daughter, Kimberly Brown of Yeadon; three grandchildren, Lela Brown of San Jose, CA, Marcus and Isabella Brown both of Holly Springs, NC; sister, Verlin Bostwick of Yeadon; brother, Glen Miller of Knoxville, TN; nephews, Charles Bostwick, Jr., David Bostwick, Tommy Miller, Larry Miller, Michael Miller, and Lawrence Francis; nieces, Freta Miller, James Etta Miller, Wanda Reese, and Valerie Miller; sister-in-law Ruth Holman; cousin, Brenda Armstrong, who has been loving, caring, and supportive to Maxine throughout the years; and many other cousins and extended relatives.  In addition to her mother and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, James Miller.

A committal service and interment with her husband will take place on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM in Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.  Arrangements entrusted to The Oliver H. Bair Co.  (610) 449-8585
