Mary Frances Lantz (Frankie) passed away Monday, August 20, from complications due to a stroke. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia, Frankie attended Wilmington Friends School, then studied art in Philadelphia. Her first love was music. She sang with the Chuck Laskin big band, performing extensively on the east coast, most notably the Steel Pier in Atlantic City. She also sang locally with the Rudy Drieden Trio. Her second love was antiques. She owned and operated Frances Lantz Antiques for more than 20 years. During that time, she became well known and respected in the regional antiques community, for her knowledge and individual style. Personally, Frankie was known by everyone for her warmth and generosity of spirit. She will be deeply missed. Frankie is survived by her loving husband Charles, her sister Helene Rubin, three children; Jay , Charles Jr, and Deborah, and 4 grandchildren. Services will be held privately by the family. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Doctors Without Borders is requested. Arrangements by The Oliver H. Bair Co. (610) 449-8585
