Mark Lyman Ransom's Obituary
Mark Lyman Ransom of Oreland, Pa., passed suddenly May 12, 2018. He was 39. He was formerly of Doylestown and Bernardsville, N.J. He graduated from Central Bucks East in 1997, and served in the U.S. Army from 1997 to 1999. He was stationed in Alaska and was wounded in Egypt.
Much of his adult life he was troubled but had the heart of gold, often helping others when he went without. He was a kind soul full of life and laughter. God and the Angels are certainly asking him to turn down the music.
He is survived by his beautiful daughter, Olympia; handsome son, Nolan; his brother, Scott; sisters, Kristy and Becky; and bonus siblings, Jody, Rebecca, and Harris Jr. and his wife, Tracy; and his parents, Kathryn and Earl Hatcher, and Harris and Melody Ransom.
Friends and family are invited to a memorial service for Mark at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Newtown United Methodist Church, 35 Liberty St. Newtown, PA 18940. Reception to follow.
