Margaret Marie (Peggy) Rein Hesel passed away peacefully on June 3, 2025 at Wiley Mission Health Care, Marlton, NJ.  Born on May 4, 1919, she was 106 years young.  She was born in Philadelphia, grew up in Drexel Hill, graduating from Upper Darby High School, Class of 1937. She then worked for The Pennsylvania Company in Philadelphia.

She was married to the late Charles "Fred" Hesel for 62 years.  Peg and Fred resided in Cherry Hill, NJ for 46 years.  There she volunteered for the Brownies, Erlton School Library, and the American Red Cross for 15 years.  She was a member of the Cherry Hill Maturity Club, American Red Cross, South Jersey Rose Society, and a charter member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Cherry Hill where she was their pianist.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Howard E. Rein and Marietta Rein, her sister, Mildred Harding Repsch, and her brother, Howard E. Rein Jr.  She is survived by daughters,  Nancy Huber and Susan Orchard, six grandchildren:  Janine Huber Garner (Donald), Dr. Jonathan Huber (Laura Ziegler), Dr. Kari Huber Langley (Jeffrey), Lewis Orchard (Erin), Dr. Elizabeth Orchard (Chris Waters), and Stephanie Orchard (Chris Hatton), and 10 great grandchildren.

Peg and Fred traveled Europe, the USA, and loved to cruise the Caribbean.  She was feisty, loving, caring, and always helping others, plus a dedicated Phillies and Eagles fan.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  Donations may be made to: Wiley Mission, 99 East Main St, Marlton, NJ 08053.  Wiley Mission provided outstanding and loving care to Mom for 27 years.
