Lester J. Sloss, 89, of Ridley Park passed away on July 13, 2011. He was the loving husband of the late Rita C. (Hewitt) Sloss. He was also a retired meat packer for Hygrade Foods and served in the United States Navy. Mr. Sloss is survived by his daughters Elizabeth A. Sprague and Patricia Sloss both of Ridley Park, his son Lester J. (Linda) Sloss of Eastampton, NJ, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Sloss will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at 10:30AM at St. Madeline Church, 110 Park St., Ridley Park. A viewing will be held from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the church. Interment will follow in Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
