Karlis H. Arste, of Philadelphia, passed away on Friday, October 28, 2011 at Albert Einstein Medical Center. He was 90 years old. Born in Latvia, Mr. Arste was the loving husband of Valda Arste. In addition to his wife, Mr. Arste is also survived by his son Vitolds (Martha Swan) Arste of Westport, New York, two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. A funeral service for Mr. Arste will be held on Friday, November 4, 2011 at 11AM at The Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby. A viewing will precede the service from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will immediately follow in Montrose Cemetery, 8504 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA.
