Obituary

Julius Pulvers, Jr. of Yardley, PA passed away on Friday July 10, 2026 at the age of 83. Born in Latvia, he was the son of Julius Sr. and Mina.

Julius became a US Citizen in 1958 after his family was displaced from Latvia. He carried great pride and love for this country and served in the US Army as a proud American. He loved long bike rides, was an unflinching Philadelphia Flyers fan, and spent much of his time enjoying movies and music. He spent his career in apartment maintenance and could fix just about anything, which was a very helpful dad attribute considering he had three daughters to pass his skills to. He had an incredible sense of humor and was the guy everyone said hello to, with a laugh that was contagious. On the surface, he may have seemed like a regular blue-collar guy, wearing blue jeans, flannel shirts, and work boots, but he was much more than just his rugged exterior. He lived a big life and had an even bigger heart. He was someone you could rely on, someone you could always trust. He was a proud father, and he made sure his girls knew that with every chance he had. Over the past few years, being a grandpa brought him deep and lasting joy.

Julius will be lovingly remembered by his children: Diane (Erin Mulrooney) Pulvers, Christine Pulvers, and Julie (Robert Zito) Pulvers-Zito, and his grandson, Robbie Julius. His cherished wife, Barbara Pulvers, passed away in 2006.
