Joseph John Hood's Obituary
Joseph J. Hood, age 54, of Red Hill, died peacefully at Grandview Hospital on October 3, 2016. Born in Lansdale, he was the son of the late John W. Hood, Sr. and Lois Jane (Schwarz) Hood.
Mr. Hood was a lifelong union carpenter and an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast.
Surviving are his son Jason L. Humphrey and his wife, Tasha, of Schuylkill Haven, PA; granddaughters, Viola and June; and one sister, Sharon A., wife of Paul J. Pierce, of Asheville, NC. He was predeceased by his brother, John W. Hood, in September 1999.
A viewing will be held from 10AM to 11AM on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main St., Red Hill, PA. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Philadelphia. Online condolences: www.monaghanfuneralhome.com
