Jose Lal Pradeep (Josechyan) was born on November 18, 1952. He was the middle child of three children to late PC Joseph and late Mariamma Joseph. As a young man, he was very family-oriented, kind, and known to be a caring person. Jose completed his high school education at Sainik School in Trivandrum. He held a position as a cadet during his late teenage years. Then he attended and obtained a degree in Chemistry at St. Thomas College in Kozhencherry, India. In the following years, he was offered a position at Rail Bhawan and moved to Delhi. In 1971, he immigrated to the United States. Jose held the reputation of being a strong intelligent man who was a positive influence on his family and friends.

Jose Lal Pradeep is survived by his wife, Aleyamma Jose (Ammukutty) and his children, Roby Jose and Toby Jose (wife: Dr. Jenny Joseph). He has two siblings, the late Lalu Pratap (Philadelphia) and Laila Jose (). He was blessed with two grandchildren (Chase & Zachary).

Jose was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2020. After battling cancer for the past years, on December 12, 2022, at 7:00 am. The gates of heaven opened for him and now he is home with the Heavenly Father. Jose Pradeep was loved by many and will truly be missed. He will remain in our hearts forever. May he rest in peace.
