Jonathan "Jon" T. Volk, of Ringoes, NJ, passed away in his home on Thursday, May 7, 2015. He was 39 years old. Born in Flemington, NJ, he was the son of Thomas W. Volk and Evelyn K. (Geck) Volk. Jon owned a small engine repair business and loved his three German Shepherds ("The Kids"). In addition to his parents, Jon is survived by his brother, David Volk, of Lansdale, PA; his maternal grandmother, Theresa Geck, of Whiting, NJ; his best friend of 20 years, Kris Risko ("Bacon"), of Bordentown, NJ; his partner in life, Ian Nann, of Annandale, NJ; his "Kids", Morgan, Diesel and Guiness; and so many friends he considered his family. Those who loved Jon, and whose many lives he touched during his short 39 years on this beautiful Earth, are invited to celebrate his life. Family and friends may call on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 1:45 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Leaver-Cable Funeral Home, 4886 US-202, Buckingham, PA 18912. After the services, friends are invited to The Raven, 385 West Bridge Street, New Hope, PA 18938, to continue the celebration of Jon's life, share memories, laugh and party -- just the way Jon would want us all to do. A Memorial Service will also be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Grace-St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 3715 East State Street, Hamilton, NJ 08619. Jon's friends were his family.
