John LaCour Ashburner, of Philadelphia, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, February 19, 2012. He was 73 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late James Eyre and Suzanne (nee LaCour)Ashburner. Mr. Ashburner is survived by his sister Elizabeth "Betsy" (Pierce) Walmsley of Richmond, Virginia.
