Jeanne Tanfield, 73, of Philadelphia, passed away on February 17, 2017 at The Watermark at Logan Square.  Born in Indianapolis, IN, to the late Eugene Pach and Helen Jane (Brown) Barnell, she was the beloved wife of Richard Tanfield.

Jeannie worked for many years as a social worker.  In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons,  Philip Tanfield, of Philadelphia, and Stephen "Barney" Tanfield (Crystal), of New York.

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 12 Noon at Trinity Memorial Episcopal Church, 2212 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103.  Reception to follow in the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Trinity Center for Urban Life (TCUL), see address above.
