J. (John) Stephen Miller, 85, of Havertown, passed away on April 25, 2020 after a series of lingering illnesses.  He was born in Toledo, OH, to the late A. Kenneth and Millicent (nee Wilson) Miller.

Steve married Eileen (nee Colvin) on November 26, 1957.   He is predeceased by his daughter Wendy (Goh) and his sister M. Katherine Miller.  In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Michael Miller and son-in-law Gary Kramer of Philadelphia, son-in-law John Goh and grandchildren Michael Goh and Margaret Goh of Westleigh, Australia.  He is also survived by his sisters Julia Schrepper, Charlotte Gruosso and Elizabeth Gessner.

After a career of nearly 40 years in multiple management positions, Steve retired from CIGNA Systems in 1995.  He was an active member of the Presbyterian Church of Llanerch and served multiple terms on all three lay committees (Deacons, Session and Trustees.)   Upon retirement from CIGNA, he assumed the role of business manager for the Pre-School run by the church and served in that position for many years.  In the 1960's, 70's and 80's,  he held various leadership roles with Llanerch Cub Pack 434 and Boy Scout Troop 434 and the Lawrence Park Swim Club.

Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, funeral services will be planned at a later date.
