Inez Mozell Jackson, beloved and dedicated mother of three beautiful children gained her wings on July 25, 2026. Inez was born in Philadelphia, PA on May 11, 1961 to the late Sadie Elizabeth (Round) Jackson and Willie Joe Jackson Sr. whom she loved dearly. Whom raised her to love the lord. Inez and her father had the best father-daughter relationship you could ask for. Inez attended the Philadelphia Public schools and graduated from William Penn High School in 1979. After graduating she begin working as a seamstress alongside her mother until health issues arisen. She later opened a cleaning business called Coverall.

Inez enjoyed spending most of her time around family. It didn’t matter who she came in contact with they all loved her energy and her smile. She had a laugh that would make you laugh even harder. Inez stayed fly with her wigs to match, her line through the eyebrows and smelling like a thousand roses. She was always upbeat and her energy and smile uplifted anyone she came in contact with. She loved music especially Keith Sweat, who she would play all the time during road trips with her children and grandchildren to Snow Hill, MD when visiting family and bringing her world-famous banana pudding and collard greens with her.

Inez had so much love for her family especially her children and grandkids. She cherished them and always mentioned that they were her pride and joy. She took joy into helping raise her grandkids whether teaching, cooking, watching movies she found a way to bond with them. Her nieces and nephews thought of her as the cool aunt and they knew that she would have their back no matter what they were going through.

Inez was preceded in death by her son Antwine Jackson, her parents, Sadie and Willie Jackson Sr., , her eldest sister, Hilda Connor, and her eldest brother Willie Jackson Jr.; brother-in-law Allan, sister-in-law Melissa, great niece Chardaisah and nephew Montae.

She leaves behind to cherish precious memories: her daughters, Robin Rivers and Tamika Jackson and step son Kevin Brown; granddaughters, Tydaisah (Muffin) , Mia ( Tip-Toes), Jaalah (JJ), Naa’miah (Biscuit), sisters Vandella Sturgis, Mona Jackson and Antoinette Jackson: brothers Appaula (Vent) Jackson, Wallace Jackson and Isaac Jackson: foster sisters Loretta, Ericka, Michelle and Brianna; sister-in-law, Lisa, Annette, April and Rochelle and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and aunts.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at 10am at Evangelistic Gospel Crusade Church, 2822-46 West Allegheny Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19132. A funeral mass will follow at 11am at Evangelistic Gospel Crusade Church.
