Howard Richardson Sr., 82, of Red Hill PA (formerly of Powhatan, VA), died peacefully on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at home. He was the loving husband of Gloria (Morris) Richardson. Born in Walhalla, SC, he was the son of the late Rayford and Mattie(Brown) Richardson. Mr. Richardson is a retired government employee for Frankford Arsenal Co. formerly located in Phila., PA. He was also a Deacon at the families church and a Freemason. Mr. Richardson is survived by his son Howard P. Richardson Jr. of Philadelphia, PA, daughters Damita (Wayne) Pridgen of Harleysville, PA, Lisa (Anthony) Lacy of Red Hill, PA, and four Grandchildren Brandon, Sydney, Leslie, and Anthony Jr.. Services will be held on Sunday, July 26th @ 1:30 p.m. at the Mt.Zion Baptist Church on 6271 Ridge Road in Powhatan, VA 23139. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
