Helena Eileen King's Obituary

Helena "Eileen" King, of Upper Darby, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 4, 2018.  She was 74 years old.  Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, she was the daughter of the late James Blaney, Sr. and Rose (McNulty) Blaney.  She was also the beloved wife of the late John Patrick King, Sr.

Eileen is survived by her three sons, Michael Kevin King, James Patrick King and John Patrick King, Jr.; daughter, Francine Melinda (nee King) McDermott (Peter); two granddaughters, Lauren Rose King and Jessica Nicole King; and her six siblings, Henry Blaney, Marie O'Connor, James Blaney, Jr., Sean Blaney, Patricia Leonard, and Teresa McFarland.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 . A visitation will precede Mass from 9:30am to 10:20am in the church.  Interment will be in Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
