Helen (Peg) B. Woerner, 90, of Middletown, born and raised in Lititz, PA, died Oct. 22, 2012 at Riddle Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late George H. Woerner and daughter of the late Elam and Iva Buckwalter. Peg received her Bachelor's degree from Millersville University and worked as a homemaker. She is survived by her four children Margaret (Peg) Curran (Tom) of Cape May, NJ, Susan Knutson (Jens) of Clarksburg, MD, George H. Woerner, Jr. (Ann) of Lancaster, and Cynthia Lima of Woodlyn; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and three sisters Lois Stelman, Mary Markley, and Patricia Breidenstone all of Lancaster. In addition to her husband and parents, Peg is predeceased by two brothers John B. and Robert B. Buckwalter; one brother-in-law William Woerner; and two sisters-in-law Josephine Holland and Elizabeth Brookes. A funeral service will be held on Fri., Oct. 26, 2012 at 11AM in the Williamsburg Chapel at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026. A viewing will precede the service from 10AM to 11AM in the chapel. Interment to follow in Arlington Cemetery.
