Helen Demetriou, of Upper Darby, passed away on September 15, 2020.  She was 96 years old.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Eva (Bendos) Pantellas.

Helen retired from Strawbridge & Clothier, where she worked as a collection clerk for 42 years.  She is survived by her daughter, Harriet C. Demetriou, of Upper Darby; brother, Peter Pantellas; and dedicated caregivers, Queta and Marcelina.  In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her baby son, Nicholas.
