Harry Newton Frye, 72, of Edgewater, FL, formerly of Pennsburg, PA, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Boyertown, PA. He was the loving husband of the late Joan (nee Bieber) Frye and the son of Donald and Luella (nee Frey) Frye. Harry worked in insurance sales and was a retired United States Army Sergeant. He served in the Army for 20 years. Harry is survived by his son Harry, his two daughters Susan Marie Jeter and Ursula Ann Frye, all of Columbus, OH; his one granddaughter; his one great granddaughter; his one stepson William (Amanda) Krupp, Jr. of Alburtis, PA; and his two stepdaughters Kelly (Arthur) Welch of Phoenix, AZ, and Deborah (David) Myers of Boyertown, PA. He is also survived by his brother G. Donald (Sarah) Frye of Pennsburg and his sister Nancy (Robert) Kulp of North Wales. A memorial service remembering Harry's life will take place on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11AM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076. A calling hour will precede the service from 10AM to 11AM. Interment will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Red Hill.
