George J. Mabe, 97, of Philadelphia passed away on July 10, 2011 at Chestnut Hill Hospital. He was the husband of the late Fern W. and Dorothy W. Mr. Mabe was also a retired Philadelphia police office -Lodge 5 (FOP) and a retired security guard at GE in Philadelphia and King of Prussia. Mr. Mabe is survived by his son Kenneth J. (Arline) Mabe of Philadelphia, two grandchildren Kristi Lee Sauder of Lafayette Hill and Jason S. Mabe of Andorra and five great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Mabe will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 10AM at Supplee Presbyterian Church, 855 E. Welsh Rd., Maple Glen. A viewing will precede the service at 9:30AM at the church. Interment will follow in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hiram Masonic Lodge #81 - F & AM, 8425 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118.
