Mr. George J. Christy, of Montgomery Township, PA, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011. He was 88 years old. The loving husband of the late Mary Ellen (Nick) Christy, he was a proud WWII Veteran, member of the Willow Grove VFW and Reilly Raiders since 1946. Mr. Christy is survived by his daughter Maryellen (James) Allard of Lansdale, his three grandchildren James (Pat) Allard of Lansdale, Lisa (Vince) Hafner of Souderton, Christopher (Gina) Allard of Sellersville, and his seven great grandchildren. Services for Mr. Christy will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11AM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA. A viewing will precede the service from 9:30AM to 11AM.
