Gail was born March 9, 1958, in Jersey City, NJ, to Charles Griffin (dec.) and Patricia E. (Jackson) Griffin (dec.).

Gail received her education at St. Patrick's Grammar School and St. Michael's High School, both in Jersey City, NJ.

Gail was actively involved in music – notably as a guitarist in The G Clefs' and as a drummer in Genesis 3.

Gail excelled at basketball in grammar school and high school.

Gail married Peter A, Fore (dec.) on July 3, 1977. The offspring of that union was LaToya Patrice Fore.

Gail moved to Philadelphia, PA, in the 1980s where she met Lee Greer. Jermaine Thomas Fore was born from that union.

Among the various jobs Gail had in Philadelphia, she spent the most time at K-Mart where she rose to the status of Sporting Goods manager.

Gail is survived by her brother Glen Griffin (Lori), daughter LaToya Fore, son Jermaine Fore, Grandsons Taalib Prater and Zayd Soler, special cousins Sharon Griffin and Stephanie Griffin and a host of relatives and friends.
