Gitterman
June 10, 1948 – March 6, 2018
Fred Gitterman, 69, of Radnor Township, Pennsylvania, passed away on March 6th following a hit and run accident.
Fred was born in Philadelphia and attended University of Wisconsin undergraduate school followed by University of California Berkeley (Boalt Hall) School of Law, where he received his law degree. He was a well-respected lawyer and worked for some of the best-known law firms in Philadelphia.
Freddy is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Sue Ellen and Robert Reinish of Las Vegas, Nevada; two nephews, Dr. Scott Epstein of Salt Lake City, Utah and Jerry Epstein of Las Vegas, Nevada; his niece Jami Cashin of Watkinsville, Georgia; and two grand nephews and a grandniece. He is also survived by his former wife, Heidi Gitterman of Santa Rosa, California and his former sister-in-law Francine Smolen of Livingston Manor, New York. He is preceded in death by his parents Yetta and Sid Gitterman.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Friday, March 16, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Congregation Beth Yeshua Messianic Synagogue,
7501 Haverford Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19151
. A graveside service will immediately follow in Montrose Cemetery, 8504 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
In addition, there will be a Shiva luncheon from
2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
at the Terrazza Clubhouse,
300 Cornerstone Drive, Newtown Square, PA 19073
(please park on Cornerstone Dr. not in parking lot adjacent, which is reserved for residents of the Condominium).
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to The Oliver H. Bair Co., 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, to offset funeral expenses; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Congregation Beth Yeshua Messianic Synagogue, see address above.
