Francis Xavier Via's Obituary
Francis "Frank" Xavier Via, of Philadelphia, passed away at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on January 20, 2016 after a long battle with cystic fibrosis. He was 26 years old. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Ryan Lyne Via and Ann Mary Savinski.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two brothers Daniel and Stephen Via, both of Philadelphia.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 in the Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082, and on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM in the Chapel at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul , 1723 Race Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103 (18th Street and the Benjamin Franklin Parkway). A Funeral Mass will follow the viewing on Thursday, January 28th at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
