Fr. John S. Wintermyer, of North Wales, passed away peacefully at Saint Joseph Villa on July 2, 2021. He was 85 years old. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Vincent J. and Helena M. (Spahn) Wintermyer.

Fr. John served in the United States Army. He was also a retired Catholic priest and physician assistant.

He is survived by his brother Paul and his niece, Diane Fillah, of Olney, MD; and his companion, Theresa Coleman, of North Wales. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, September 10th at 11:00 AM in St. Helena's Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422.  A visitation will precede the Mass at 10:00 AM.
