Evelyn J. (Wallace) Dougherty, 85, of Aldan, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was the beloved wife of the late Cornelius J. (Neil) Dougherty. The couple had been married for 55 years until Neil's death on July 13, 2004. Evelyn worked as a homemaker and is survived by her two daughters Carol A. Fish (John C.) of Aldan and Nancy L. Burghart (Thomas W.) of Middletown Twp.; son Ross J. Dougherty of Secane; 11 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thurs., Jan. 9, 2014 at Aldan Union Church, 7 E. Providence Rd., Aldan, PA 19018. A viewing will precede the service from 9:30AM to 11AM at the church.
