Erik L. Koch's Obituary

Erik L. Koch, 65, of Pennsburg, PA, passed away at his residence on Saturday, June 5 2010.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the loving husband of Kathryn (Wolf) Koch and son of the late Otto and Kay (Judson) Koch.

Mr. Koch worked throughout his life with Urwiler & Walter Inc. and in his latter years with the Cutler Group as a Project Engineer and Land Surveyor before his retirement. He was also a member of the Porsche Club of America.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman as well as an accomplished wood worker who enjoyed building many things for his children and grandchildren. He also built his beautiful home with the help of his very good friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Julie (Troy) Gibson, Karei (Bruce) Moll, one Stepdaughter, Kathryn (Scott) Solomon, two Stepsons, Kenneth Rymdeko, Dain (Lisa) Rymdeko, Sister, Andrea Gage, eight grandchildren, David, Mitchell, Greysen, Devon, Alexander, Christopher, Paige, Hannah and nephews.

Services will be private. In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Fox Chase for Pancreatic Cancer Center Institutional Advancement, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-2497.
