Mrs. Elna B. Grier, formerly of East Greenville, PA, and Swarthmore, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Emeritus Assisted Living in Arlington, Virginia. She was 103 years old. Born in East Greenville, she was the beloved wife of the late Charles H. Grier, Sr. She is survived by her son, Charles Grier (Panama City Beach, FL), her daughter Jeannette Grier Anderson and husband Mark, son-in-law William Hladky, niece Amy Bitting, 8 granddaughters: Laura Sanders, Cynthia Sosbe, Susan Clements, Pamela Blackburn, Diana Shirley, Stephanie Hladky Banaitis, Kimberly Hladky Fraser, Jessica Anderson; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her infant son David and daughters Nancy, and Sara Grier Hladky and daughter-in-law Barbara Grier. A viewing and visitation with the family will be held on Monday, April 23, 2012 from 11AM to 12:45PM at the Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076.
