Elizabeth Detwiler, 97, of Newark, DE (formerly of Ridley Park, PA), died May 11, 2009 at the Calvert Manor Healthcare Center in Rising Sun, MD. She was the loving wife of the late Carl Detwiler. Born in Darby, PA, she worked as a bookkeeper in the clothing business for many years. She is survived by her daughter Catherine Taylor and husband George of Newark, DE, her brother John Gibbs and his wife Delores of Cape May, NJ, 3 grandchildren Gene, Robert & Neil, and 6 great grandchildren Steven, Zackary, Kyra, Ashley, Kai & Ty.
