Dorothy Elaine (Moser) McCaa, aged 64, died peacefully on March 23, 2015 at her home in Pennsburg, surrounded by her family. Dottie was born March 26, 1950, in Norristown, PA the daughter of the late Harold and Dorothy (Campbell) Moser. Dottie grew up in Norristown, PA and attended Norristown HS. She then attended Lock Haven University where she met and married Thomas McCaa. Together they raised 4 children in Levittown, PA. The family was very involved in Saint Michael the Archangel church. They moved to Pennsburg, PA in 2003 and enjoyed spending time with their 7 grandchildren. Dottie most enjoyed bringing people together and sharing her boundless love with people from all over the world. She was involved with the international exchange student program as a director, helping to place students with host families. As part of the program, she hosted more than 20 students in her own home and extended her family globally. Dottie is survived by her husband, Thomas McCaa; children, Amy McCaa, Aaron (Lori) McCaa, Anna (Roger) Bateman, Adam (Jenn) McCaa; grandchildren Benjamin, Zackary, Ryan, Matthew, Nathaniel, Delaney, and Piper; siblings Harold "Moe" (Janet), Michael (Marie "Bunny"), David (Malia), Cathy "Sam" (David) Caramenico, and Alan "Oop" (Linda). She is also survived by many people around the world who she considered part of her large, extended family. Visitors will be welcomed Sunday, March 29th from 7-9pm and Monday, March 30th from 9am-10am at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, March 30th at 10:30am at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Guests will be received at the family's home after interment.
