Donna Lynn Favata's Obituary
Donna Lynn Favata, of Malvern, passed away surrounded by her family at Paoli Hospital on February 14, 2021. She was 62 years old. Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Edward Favata and Margaret Priscilla Schaeffer. She was also the beloved wife of the late Wayne Richard Day.
Donna worked as a caregiver and spent the majority of her life caring for others; including being the sole caregiver of her mother. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Day Ohlinger; son, Bryan Day; step-sons Wayne Day and Michael Day; step-daughter Krystle Kramer and 8 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Donna was also a "surrogate" mother to many of the friends of her children and the countless children from the Malvern area, where she had a babysitting business for over 15 years.
A celebration of life will be held privately in the spring. As a woman of faith, in lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made in her honor to The Church of The Good Samaritan located at 212 West Lancaster Avenue, Paoli, PA 19301.
