Donald F. Sontag, Sr., 88, of Shannondell Valley Forge in Audubon, passed away on November 30, 2018.  He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy Ellen (Waldeck) Sontag.

Mr. Sontag grew up in Arlington, VA. He went to St. Albans School for Boys, sang in the Washington National Cathedral Boys Choir, and served in the Navy aboard the USS Putnam. He studied at the University of Pennsylvania and graduated from The Wharton School of Business with a Master's degree. He received his CPA scoring at the very top of his class and later built his CPA firm, Sontag & Associates.

He is survived by his sons, Donald Sontag, Jr., husband of Mi-Yung, of Downingtown, and Peter Sontag, husband of Christine, of Massachusetts; and his two grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 14, 2018 at 10am at St. Alban's Episcopal Church, 3625 Chapel Road, Newtown Square, PA 19073. Interment will be private in Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Tyler Arboretum, 515 Painter Rd, Media, PA 19063 .
