Donald G. Smith's Obituary
Donald G. Smith, of Plymouth Meeting, formerly of Chester County, Pa., passed away on November 22, 2016 at AristaCare at Meadow Springs. He was 64 years old. Born in Danville to the late John and Elizabeth (Leedy) Smith, he worked as a manager in the manufacturing industry. He enjoyed working in his garden, fishing, listening to classic rock, watching war movies and traveling to Gettysburg.
Mr. Smith is survived by his two daughters, Carole Smith of Coatesville, PA and Donna Boden (Tom), of Middleboro, MA; grandchildren Connor and Samantha Boden; siblings William (Mary) Smith and Roberta Geiger; many nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife, Carol Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at The Oliver H. Bair Funeral Chapel, 8500 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation prior to the service from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in the chapel. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to AristaCare at Meadow Springs, 845 Germantown Pike, Plymouth Meeting, PA 19462.
